Texas A&M Engineering ranks high in latest graduate survey

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M Engineering's graduate program ranked 13th overall and 7th among public institutions in the latest U.S. News & World Report survey, "America's Best Graduate Schools 2009."

Individual programs ranked were: Aerospace Engineering, 8 (5 public); Biomedical Engineering, 27 (13); Chemical Engineering, 30 (20); Civil Engineering, 13 (8); Computer Engineering, 29 (15); Electrical Engineering, 18 (11); Industrial Engineering, 9 (7); Mechanical Engineering, 20 (12); Nuclear Engineering, 4 (3); and Petroleum Engineering, 2 (2).

Agricultural Engineering, last ranked in 2007, was first nationally and among public institutions.
